Deejay VINNIE (Michael Adebayo) was born and raised in Lagos Nigeria. His love for his career started at the tender age of 12 and started to make impact at age 18.

He has been a professional DJ since 1990, influenced by funk master flex and red alert.

He began the noble art after his secondary school education.

Deejay VINNIE is one of the most talented DJ’s in Nigeria and certainly one of the most exciting.

He likes to refer to himself as an International DJ because he has also played in 7 different countries, working radio stations, clubs and many more in the Diaspora.

Deejay VINNIE has won a lot of merit awards while on radio and also the best Nigerian DJ Award in 1996.

He was on the wheel of steel when Montel Jordan, visited Nigeria as well as Talib Kwali and original Gangstar, Guru in Johannesburg, South Africa followed by Jay Z, P Diddy, Busta Rhymes, Mary J Bilge, Chris Brown, Usher and many more.

Most recently, he was honoured as the best Dj by Base Entertainment, and has been nominated as the WORLD BEST DJ at this year’s Nigerian Entertainment Awards in NewYork.

He has just lunched his mix tape titled The Lost Chapter vol.1 featuring some of Nigeria hottest star such as 9ice, Essence, General Pype, Mo’ Hit, Dare Art Alade, Cartair, Terry G to mention a few.

He has 2 music videos titled Show Some Love featuring General Pype and Gbedu Dey High Me featuring 9ice, Jah Bless and 2 Phat.
